What is my car worth? JDM with ASM widebody
Hi guys.
I know these threads are not permitted on the honda s2000 uk owners facebook page , had a quick browse of the forum rules which states it is not permitted for guest users. I'm hoping the post is ok and you guys can shed some light on this.
Thinking about selling the s2000 as after moving to London it never gets used anymore and looking to get on the property ladder.
Some info on the car.
1999 JDM import in Y52P new/ indy yellow pearl.
Had a replacement engine from a 2005 model put in by Rich at Performance Autoworks in 2014.
~71- 72k miles
Facelift headlights
Facelift tail lights
ASM front bumper
ASM front fenders
ASM rear overfenders
Voltex Carbon Fibre spoiler
Baffled Sump
Tegiwa Oil filter stopper
Mishimoto Radiator
Mishimoto Radiator Hoses in Blue
Mugen Fan switch
Magnetic sump plug
Magnetic Diff plug
Volk racing TE37 - 17 x 7.5 et30 - re11
- 17 x 8.5 et40 - nankang ns2r
Volk racing wheel nuts in blue (faded)
Meister R coilovers
Driveshaft spacers
Dixcel carbon front and rear brake discs
Dixcel Type Z front and rear brake pads
Hel braided brake lines
Tegiwa Brake stopper
Bride Vios 3 in red with seatback protector and side cushions - drivers only
Buddyclub seat rail- drivers only
Modifry RHD dash bracket
Alpine bluetooth headunit
Headunit dash control
Black 2 piece Oem honda mats
Robin Headliner kit
Spoon sports rear view mirror
Bodywork does have some dings.
Private plate would go with the car.
The front bumper and fenders were on the car when I purchased it. I was told the fenders are genuine ASM but assume the front bumper is a rep.
Clutch master cylinder was replaced with a new Oem honda one end of 2015.
Overall the car runs great, burns no oil at all and only needs some TLC to the bodywork

Looks lovely but its a specific/modified look so it'd take longer to sell, id price it 1/2k higher than a similar year standard car tbh. You'd make more money selling the aftermarket parts separately and putting it back to standard or close to.

Ill buy the front wings!
Honestly its very hard to sell a modified car but this does look very nice and i'm sure you will find the right buyer. Very hard to price and it may be easier to remove some of the easier mods like wheels and sell them on separately.
Have you priced up a standard car with similar miles etc? would say do that and then add a few K for the mods

Indeed a very tidy car! I've seen it quite a lot and have been in it on multiple occasions, and I have driven it. Sweet as a nut. Such a massive shame you have to sell it but I guess that's London life for you.
I suppose do what others are saying, find a similar age, mileage, and condition jdm model and go from there. Surely though it's got to be worth like at least 8k? 8-10k?
