Maybe it's the wheels and tires or the angle of the photo but the car looks higher than stock off the ground. It may also be the photo is compressed side to side 'cuz the car looks short and tall. Mine in a similar pose at the bottom. Color may make a difference too.

Wheels are basically fluff. What you have is fine. Yeah, some are a pound or two lighter than others. You're not going to set lap records anyway so don't worry about it. Tires, on the other hand are important. I personally like the AP2 17" wheel sets in stock staggered arrangement for both handling -- with good extreme performance summer tires like the Bridgestone RE-11A or RE-71R tires. Once you go beyond OEM wheel and tire sizes you get clearance issues in the wheel wells for no documented performance increases. Easy to bugger the wheel wells to get "that" look.

At less than 150mph on the Autobahn spoilers merely spoil the looks of the car.

Fix you top straps, buy some performance tires. Defer everything until next summer. Your tastes and desires for the car will probably change.

Yeah, otherwise they look great at 151mph on the autobahn or at less than 150mph on other roads.

Spoliers are massively subjective. For instance, I think that the OEM low level spoiler finishes the back of the car and the car looks odd without one.

Hi dan - what colour are your Rotas? I'd be looking to sell just the wheels without tyres.

I see what you mean Chuck - it doesn't look that high in the flesh. I'll take another pic and upload it when I get a chance tomorrow. Thanks for the advice though - appreciate it!

I agree spoilers are always a topic for debate. I prefer a more sleek look with a BMW chop spoiler with a front lip for balance.

My car's butt is stock as far as no spoiler. Considered the OEM spoiler but all it does is look different. Good or bad depending on taste and what you're used to. I'm actually indifferent to how it looks but haven't seen one on my car. The OEM version is still stocked in matching color from my internet searches.
