Default What pads and disks?

Hi all
My S2k turbo is currently on standard calipers with EBC Yellow stuff pads and EBC slotted disks, the disks have been on the car for about 18 months now and started to notice some deep cracks appearing.

I know I really need to upgrade my callipers but funds are tight ATM so I am looking for some good disks and pads that are good at dispersing heat and reduce fade what you guys recommend?

Thanks

Dixel from DMS Traders on here. Talk to DIxon. I just got a new set myself but have used them before and they are awesome! Anyone who has used them will vouch for that!

Keep with the yellowstuff (new pads), get some new discs and remove/grind off your heat shields. I would then look at some ducting.

This will improve your braking capacity by a huge amount, costs about £10 and is advice no retailer would ever give you

Don't forget to get some better brake fluid too. This has a big effect, in my ill-informed opinion

Various ideas here (for both 99-03 and 04+ Bumpers).....

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/105...+ducts__st__75

Not sure about the undertray fitment option, especially in a lowered car!

http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/AI...c18/index.html for some ideas..... maybe locate behind the oem ducts on your bumper... a lot more stealth on an 04+ surely.

Good luck and be sure to post up some pics if you attempt it.... I am contemplating it at the moment. Want to incorperate a block off system for everyday/winter use. (other than just a rag and tennis ball! )
