However I just adore it, it has a special ingredient that it is very hard to put your finger on. It is a drivers car through and through, the thrill of driving is not always about going crazy speeds. it is that 'feeling' that some cars have and some cars do not.
Personally I think forced induction spoils the essence of the S2000 but I can understand why people do it.

A charged one is a different beast all together. I had mine N/A for over 5 years and after getting itchy feet test drove an M3, Z4M, Boxster, etc, etc and couldn't find anything that I liked & back in 2012 the values of the S were nothing like they are now so I would have had to put £6-£8k with the sale of my S to buy a decent example of the mentioned cars. I opted to supercharge & have never looked back. Yes, it's expensive by the time that you uprate the brakes, clutch, exhaust, etc, etc but you end up with an absolute weapon and if you choose not to go with a BGW, huge wheels, arches & so on proves to be a wolf in sheep's clothing as no M3, RS4, Porsche driver is expecting to get their trousers & pants pulled down by an S2000
Also, what you will notice with almost double the BHP & Torque of the standard car is when you go out in a group you can hear everyone else ringing the neck out of theirs in say 3rd gear whilst I am sat in 4th enjoying the boost and going anywhere on the motorway is a breeze as you don't need to change out of 6th to overtake anything :-)
People will say that they prefer the standard car and I had the standard car for 5+ years and loved it but prefer the beast that it became over 5 years ago.
