but the boot is not that big, if you want to get a pram in it I doubt if you could. You would easily get a pram in the back if you folded down the seats but then the kid would have to sit in the boot

It's hardly an unbiased sample though is it .
I'm going to go down to Newcastle and test drive the FD2 they have down there in about 3 weeks when Andy (200bhp) gets back and if the car gives me goosebumps I'm probably going to buy one.
The mpg on a monaro is too low for me and the boot isn't really what I'm after although it does make me go all captain caveman when I see it, I will own a muscle car but when I have lots of money and not any sooner. M5 and S4 are both possibilities but for some reason I like Japanese cars... They are also more expensive for a nice one.
911 isn't really ideal, my budget is about 23-24k on the basis that I can sell my S for about 20 ish, my other option is to buy a third car for 3k or so.
