I have a factory OEM cd changer. I have the handbooks in the pack so must have been supplied with the car when new.
Boot light is present and functioning

Must be the connector for the rear soft top heater screen.
Mines a 1999 so must have come with a plastic window when new.
Perhaps Honda must have known they were to release the later 2001 models with heated rear screens.

I have a 2003 model which came with a heated rear glass. Would this Brown connector be wired into that ? Been digging into the boot and I swear this random Brown connector is nowhere tobe found!

I believe they came wired differently on the 2002 onward, as you guys had the heated rear glass as standard.
So your correct, that brown connector on my one would not exist on your model of s2000.

I did see your other thread but to be honest, I havent got a clue either.

I want to commission my hardtop demister too but have given up now as the 1999/2001 model has a specific loom with bullet connectors which has been discontinued now.
According to several suppliers and threads here.
It would be nice to have it up and running but the cost of the loom, switch, relay and other harness'es it is quite pricey.

Not sure if this thread helps
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...r-my00-916782/

It does say an extra relay is required and a fuse to be inserted into the fuse box on the engine bay, but might only be specific to the 99/01 models.
I have also read that the side body catcher bracket acts as a switch to turn off the rear soft top heater and switch over to the hardtop demister.

Sorry couldnt be more help, I have read so many threads on hardtop demister.
Can't believe Honda made it so complicated for such a simple feature.

Not at all! Always good to have more input so there's some kind of progress. I ended up ordering from RHD Japan and got this bracket for 200. I'll post my progress when it lands!
