And also can someone please confirm if these wheels will stick out stick out further than the wheels I have ?

The front off set is a little low - I think there will be rubbing. Rear's are a wide, could be the same story - which Rota's?

If you reduce the spacer size from 15mm to 10mm, it shouldn't be a problem (but will they then clear your brakes?), but otherwise the rears are going to stick out 6mm further than the current wheels do - especially combining that with a wider tyre as well.

The fronts are going to stick out 5mm further (even with the more favourable offset).

So it may be worth swopping the standard size tyres over to the new wheels before I buy another set of ( wider ) tyres ? I guess that way I can see what room I have ....

They fit over the brakes and Rota have said they are made to fit the s2000 with out any rubbing using the standard tyre sizes .... but obviously I'm wanting to run slightly wider

Is that with or without the spacers?

If you retain your spacers, I still think your are going to get slight touching given the extra protrusion. Obviously without spacers, no problem what-soever in running those sizes.

They will be fine 245/40/17 on 17x9+45 was quite literally 1-2mm too much under heavy compression on eibach springs.

I have the same. 235 and 255 rubbed front and rear. I'm on coilovers and not mega low. Car is setup for track.

Rolling rears stopped them, fronts rub under heavy cornering, weight shifts and undulations.
