Wheel/Hub Bearing or Tyre Noise
Hi,
I've read plenty of threads on this subject but many don't seem to have an outcome on them.
Eg: https://www.s2ki.com/...t-around-60mph/
Apologies as i posted this in the "under the hood" section but im not sure if its the correct place. I bought my car from the UK, and brought it out here to Spain (uk ex pat, i work in Gibraltar). When i bought the car i knew the bearing on the front right hand side needing doing, and used this to haggle the price down.
It sounds like wheel bearings, ive owned enough and replaced enough of them to know a dodgy bearing when i hear it, but soon as i got it out here i had the bearings replaced, and i still have the noise, turn left and you hear it get louder, and you can feel it through the wheel, but then i have heard people say oh its just tyre noise. Ive recently read that you have to replace the hub bearing at the same time, so it could well be this.
I recorded 2 videos today, its sounds a lot louder in the video than it does with your own ear, the video on the 2 lane autopia i roll the clutch down the slip road, the 2nd video once i get the car going im on the clutch all the way to the round about. see what you think, and thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay, have been away. I'm going to get it nipped up at the same place, and if it doesn't resolve the issue i may just have the whole hub assembly replaced just to cover all bases.
There is a Honda garage not far from me out here, but Spanish garages are known for HUGE bills right now as work is sparse at the minute, the labour for my friends replacement Almera radio at Nissan came to 900 euros!!
