Price now dropped to £8,100, and still not selling, not surprising for a 2003 car with 123000 on the clock.
Is it just me that can't recall wheeler dealers changing the ECU?

The ad doesn't say WD's resprayed it just that it was resprayed, as I recall there was a lot of stuff that didn't add up. The fact that it turned out to be owned by a mate of Mikes, was "done up" and sold back to him then ended up on eBay was all a bit suspect, especially as the engine rebuild was allegedly messed up or just not done.
Still it didn't sell this time around.

Surely some pictures of how the car currently sits would be helpful.
I'm not sure Mike Brewers chubby fingers being over it 5 years ago is a strong selling point on its own, even if Ed China 'worked his magic'.
Just watched the episode - the car had a blocked VTEC solenoid, steering rack replaced, headlight washer pump replaced, and wheel refurb. Paint looked decent.

Silly price
i'd always wonder what had been done in the engine, iirc it was gasket gunk blocking the vtec solenoid. I doubt major engine work but its certainly not a positive on these cars
orange cars are marmite, i think mikey took a while to
offload his and that was in vgc iirc.
