Wheels, Wheels, Wheels....advice
Sorry another Wheels question.
I need four new tyres for 03 S2K so thought it could be an idea to upgrade to some 18" wheels and tyres.
Obviously as you all know there an not that many wheels on the market to fit the S2K due to the offset.
Now I really fancy the BK Racing 208 wheels in either gold or black for the car (Silver)
When I called up a well known wheel place he said I had quite a bit of choice as long as the offset it between 40-50.
Is this correct or do I need a certain offset. I don't want to fcuk up the handling or anything like that and don't want it rubbing.
Also he mentioned the Mig Evo 5 wheels were still available for the S2000...they had 8 in stock.
Cheers Matt

Check out the wheel and tire forum for better advise. But i think you need to try as close to:
front offset around +55
rear offset around +65
It dosn't matter alot if you go 10/15 below just don't fit a to wide tire on the rear, i.e 255+ or you'll get rubbing on hard conering.
Also don't forget to keep a stagger in sizes. e.g 215 front and 245 rear.
I have just been through the same saga and decided on some Volk CE28N's which come in at almost perfect offsets I believe the only wheels that do.
Just need to start saving.
Good luck.

Very good point about the $. The way it is at the moment (almost 2-1) you can get some of the Volk TE37s from here http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/fr...=481&SearchYN=N for just over a grand. Don't think that includes postage or duty, but you could probably side step the duty.
Plus tyres.

The price was with tyres...which I think is pretty good.
The US prices are so good at the min. Also I would seriously recommend checking out the USA For Sale forum.
Some great deals to be had and also they offer escrow, meaning you won't get stung.
Anyone want to sell there 18" ??
