Default When does production of the current S2K cease?

I keep reading all sorts of contradictory sh!te about how long the current S2000 will be produced. Do any of you folks know what the official word is in this regard?? I'm also not liking what bits and pieces I'm reading about the S2000 replacement.... If it was down to me........ I'd like 100kg off, power up to 250ps (and NOT via the softer 2.2 litre US engine...) and some tasty updating of the interior and exterior styling. Single centre exit exhaust would also get my vote (black chrome oval) as would 18" wheels and wider rear tyres. Now I'd place an order for THAT tomorrow!

It is amazing how long the car has lasted. The shape was so far infront of its time. It captured a generation tbh.

They should have knocked production on the head in 2003. Then my car would be more exlusive
