where is the port for connection to the transfer of information to the s 2000

Default where is the port for connection to the transfer of information to the s 2000

I have read on forums where the connection port to connect information about your car like
key cutting pinn numbers are
I have a 08 s2000 model gt and I think I have found it under passenger side foot well towards the tunnel
it looks like a female plug probably 9 pin
I thought it was suppose to be on the drivers side on a 08 car thanks john

The OBD2 port is in the passenger footwell. This is a good image of its location and with a bluetooth adapter fitted which can talk to your phone.

It is on American and mainland European cars.

Not sure about key cutting numbers, I've not heard of that, I thought it was a Honda only job on later cars.

Don't know about key cutting numbers, that could be a Honda dealer software thing....

No it isn't.

Unless it's on the passenger side for all models up to 2008 then swapped over, then back for 2009.

Port (left) side under the dash next to the transmission tunnel on USDM cars I've seen. There -- way up out of the way -- on my '06. Gotta crawl under with a flashlight to see it on my car,
