Default Whining noise from engine bay ?

Hi,

Just driving back from the honda dealership and noise in the low revs a whining noise from the engine ? ( non turbo before comments )

I've just had my diff , gearbox & clutch oils all changed, never heard of this noise before now ...

Could it be from something they have done ?.

I have called them and they've said drive it around and see if it goes away of not bring it back tomorrow.

Any advice ?

Ant

Are you sure it's coming from the engine bay? Might they have put Honda MTF in the diff?

Does it rise and fall with the revs? Do you have xenons?

I have a slight whine that is rev related. I think it's coming from the aux belt..more specifically the crank that drives it .

I've got the same, presumed it was the bearing on the idler pulley, so changed that, made no difference, ran the engine with the aux belt off, no difference, it is RPM related so that rules the air pump out. I've given up now.
