Default Who else has a Midnight Blue S2000? are they rare?

I have just become a very happy first time S2000 owner, having acquired a lovely midnight blue 2004 car after months of searching... It has 29000 miles and looks and feels like new, i am delighted with it!

My question is, how many Midnight Blue ones are there?

I have done alot of research on S2000's in the last few months, and seen the various colour chart options on here and other forums, but never seen mention of midnight blue until i bought mine, it made me wonder if it was maybe not a u.k colour, or perhaps special order.... or is it the same as rnbp???

Anyone know anything more?

I love it. I can't understand why there are so few around. I wanted one too, but just couldn't find one.

i think its lovely, a subtle pearl that pops nicely in the sun.... I kinda wanted a Moonrock or Silverstone one but i really think i'm more happy with what i have, it works well with the lines on the car, might be a pain to keep clean tho!

So was it a standard colour option then?

Have you got any photos of it you can post on here so I can compare to my RNB s2000. Mine to is pearl but wouldn't say it had a purple tint, it's more of a lighter blue when sun hits it.

Can't beat a Monza Red Pearl, sorry

I'd wish I'd had a proper look at your colour man, I just assumed it was a dark blue (forgot the non pearl dark blue's proper name)

According to this link, the UK got 4 types of blue:

Bermuda Blue Pearl
Monte Carlo Blue
Nurburgring Blue Metallic
Royal Navy Blue Pearl

I suspect your's is the last one - check the colour code on the inside of your door.
