When I used to frequent this forum a lot more regularly than I now do, many years ago, there was a user called kobe. He was an expat living and working in Japan, and he bought a JDM Midnight Blue cat while over there.
I don't know whether site search is any better than it used to be but, if it is, you may want to do a search for some of his posts or his gallery - he posted a load of pics of his car.
It was a lovely colour - very purpley when caught in the right light.
