I think these are the type of posts that I see that makes me frown upon using the forums.
I don't know the owner but I would imagine he is not exactly happy about what happened and would be embarrassed to say the least.
On top of that, some people ridiculing him just for the fun of it is an absolute shame and quite insensitive.
I think at minimum peoples privacy should be respected, if the owner wanted to post this up then he would have done so in his own time.
I thought people here would be more mature than this

If the guy has an accident in such a public place then I don't see a problem with discussing it on here.
Edit: When Richard at TTS did exactly the same thing at Santa Pod he sent me the videos to post on here .....

Like I posted, he now has no chance of an (albeit illegal) insurance claim whether or not that was in his mind, it's obviously a road car as well, and a hefty bill to get it fixed.
OK he got caught out on a drag strip open to the public so the guy has to take it on the chin, but I wonder if some of those comments made face to face would have resulted in the posters getting it on the chin!
