Default Alarm Cover

I don't suppose anyone has the dimensions of the alarm cover and bracket? I took mine off to paint it, and it's gone walkabout :-(

The reason I took it off is that mine was rusty as hell too.

if you could get the dimensions of the cover and bracket, that would be great.

Thanks.

Hi Andy

its 80mm tall (the back of the C) and 65mm deep

The thing is made of 170mm wide tin

I can post up some pics, the slots are 29mm centre from the back and 40mm in, they are 25mm long

why do you guys keep it? i threw it away and left the alarm siren without cover... any thief can just cut the cable to the siren anyway.

Well, the cover keeps any rain that might get through the side of the bonnet off it at least. I have found a box of about the right size that I might use instead. THis is big enough for the siren, and will also make getting to the wires much harder, should anyone try to cut it.

Plus it's plastic, so no rust!
