windscreen mouldings

I had some kerfuffle with autoglass, but eventually got oem seal and screen
Pattern seals don't sit on the corners properly...ie curling, and pattern screens don't follow the shape of the plastic scuttle at the bottom of the screen
I did get oem eventually, but without paying an excess you have to let them cock up first before they do as you ask...mither all round I'm afraid

Had the screen fitted last week and autoglass turned up with OEM rubber, fitter did a great job and rubber sits perfect on corners....so all about the OEM rubber me-thinks.

Had a screen fitted about two years ago by Autoglass. The fitter said he had 20 years experience but was on the phone all the time asking someone how to do it. Rubber all curled up, he could not even get the rear view mirror back on. I complained a lot and about two weeks later two new chaps turned up. I asked what's the deal with the seal, and they said you have to stretch it and then stretch it again. Anyway it worked.
