You only need remove 1/2 doz Honda clips & peel the wheelarch liner back.

Just turn the front wheels full lock right first.

Mine gave up on me last week...funny that it seems to affect UK cars more than US (at least a board-wide search only brings up UK-based reports)....especially annoying as I never used mine anyway

Would appreciate anybody's comments on where best to get a replacement pump - straight to Honda or scratch around the breakers?

Oli.

We are constantly using teh washer pumps, since there is a permanent greasy drizzle (no, not Gordon Brown) hanging over the UK.

US weather's more binary.

It also gets a lot of dampness (I know it's a water pump!) due to its location.

I decided against a second-hand one, simply because my car is a 2001 and it's hard to say another wouldn't fail early. CBA to pissball with that, plus I needed a quickish repair at the time.

Not to say getting one off a late car's not a good idea, though.
