I’ve had a problem with my washers recently being poor pressure and seemed like the hoses were draining back to tank, stripped out all the hoses, jets, and valves and cleaned them in a mug with hot water and vinegar, rebuilt bit by bit and working great until I shut the bonnet, seems there was a bink in the hose section between the inner wing and the bonnet, I merely squeezed and wriggled the corrugated section a bit and all works fine now, but the were no signs of any damage to the hose, still sorted now.
Apparently too much screenwash to water mix can gum up the pump too.

Thanks richmc.
I really hoped there was a relay. Looks like my next step is trying a new earth cable to rule that out as thats easier to fix. I hope it's not the feed cable.
thanks for the diagram.

Just noticed that circuit diagram has a headlight washer switch in it on the right hand side of the diagram. That looks like it's for the earlier versions.

Quite right there is a supplement I missed. doesn't make any difference to the screen washer part though.

Why don't you just cut to the chase and put +12V onto the w/screen washer pump +ve and see if it says 'wzzzzzz'?

Chances are it's seized by now.

You take the screws out the RHS wheel liner and there it is. Pull it out the grommet and push the new one in. Cheap ones are available on Fleabay.

If it does say 'wzzzzz' then your lines/jets need unclogging.

Actual electrical faults are pretty rare on Hondas.

Thanks for your reply Nick but as I stated in my first post I have already had the motor out and tested it on another battery. It works fine.

Ah sorry - I'd gone back to KMB's OP in error.

In which case, bypass the stalk with +12V (there's a live in the footwell fuseboard near the stalk loom) and see if it works. Your switch contacts might have burned.
