Is it normal for there to be a clicking noise when the wipers are on the slowest setting i.e. when the wipers 'wipe', then pause, then 'wipe' again, there is a click on each stroke.

Yeah, it's the relay clicking in when the timer says it's ready for another wipe. Drove my ex nuts! Seem to remember a thread on here about three or four years back where someone pointed it out and from then on, everyone else noticed it and it drove them nuts too! Not sure if this only happened on pre-04's; can't remember hearing it recently.
