LB here ..

Doris had some money spent on her last year for refurbed wheels, new roof, and a few presents in terms of resprayed rocker cover etc. Her standard stuff each year is service and mot and geo twiddle. Didn't do many miles due to the present of The Shed ( amusing ancient diesel Golf) this year will be a new battery ho hum or I might have to get a trickle charger. Interesting to see what the insurance is this year.

OBII has had a fair chunk but it is all worth it. Insurance is possibly going to be a worry this year t we will cross that bridge when we ever get to it.

We do not count car costs on mods in this house it might scare the dog. I know the sensible thing to do would be to sell Doris but I am oddly attached to her. Talking of which as it is a nice day and i am sure I can get flowers in the S I am off to put the top down and enjoy her on a round Robin day out!

FWIW we are still playing with the Gas shocks set up to get the one we like, so easy to do that not a major drama and CF @ CG made a huge difference to the handling. Our proving ground is currently the roadworks on m25 by a3.

If I didn't have my car or bike I could have a house by now. But I probably would have killed myself by now and led a very boring life!
