No solo test drives – happy to take you out in it to show it all works as it should do but I don’t let other people drive my car, never have, never will.
If you buy it, drive it away and then throw a bearing / bend a rod by mis-shifting going down the box due to inexperience / faith in playstation talent then it’s your problem not mine.

Condition: 11 months MOT.For its year and mileage, it’s in pretty good order. Few paint chips to the front wings / bonnet but that’s to be expected. Paint is generally in good order although with it being NFR, it needs (and has had ) regular waxes. Mechanically it is in great running order and has wanted for nothing in my ownership. It always starts first time, no rattles, no smoking, no mis-shifts, it hasn’t been tracked or raced and it hasn’t been crashed or abused. Only done 2500 miles in the last year, not much more than that the year before and has been garaged for the last 2 years when not in use. That said, it has been used and enjoyed and was my daily driver up until fairly recently and is NOT a garage queen.

Service and work history: Full Honda Service history up to about 54k miles then independent specialist after that. Oil and filter changed twice a year in my ownership. Valve train inspected and adjusted if needed every 12 months. New aux belt fitted < 10k miles ago along with new drive belt tensioner. Clutch changed at 60k miles, full OEM replacement fitted and another full clutch at 102k miles.
Reconditioned Alternator / Starter motor fitted when the clutch was done as mine was doing the ‘death shriek’. Front brakes were rebuilt and rear brake calipers replaced. Suspension fully refurbished along with Mugen front castor bushes and Honda OEM bushes including new rear toe arms. Shocks and springs changed for slightly softer 2007MY. 17” OEM wheels, freshly powder coated black, fitted with the Pilot Sport 4. Probably 5mm left all around. Last GEO done was with the suspension swap and was all good at that point. Fitted OEM Hardtop with OEM brackets. Soft top – in good condition for year but starting to show some age in places but then it’s spent more time down than up. Always meant to get around to Jack Smiths in Swansea to get it replaced but it doesn’t let in water so never got around to it. Both door actuators replaced (pig of a job) along with rain seals on the doors as well as the soft top rubbers as the originals were worn beyond repair. Seals greased twice a year to keep them supple.

Exterior Modifications: OEM splitter fitted to and then blended into the front bumper, plate frame removed and washers disconnected. Rear boot spoiler (BMWCHOP) adhesive tape used, not drilled into the boot lid. Upgraded LED fitted to both fog and reverse light. 100W main beam H4 lamp upgrades. ‘Mikey’ SS grill inserts. Keyhole blank inserts fitted - could probably do with repainting. Black valve train cover.
Fully debadged apart from OEM replacement front and rear enamel badges ( they don’t trap polish in them ). New TCT fitted with reprofiled oil path, no rattles, 4 new coilpacks fitted at the same time.

Interior modifications: GoTuning red and black seat covers – you’d be hard pushed to tell they are covers. Rebolstered drivers seat, base swapped with passenger seat. Carbon heating elements – switches in ashtray recess. Tall windbreak screen fitted. Will come with original. Full ( Not QUBE) LED dash conversion to red in the switchgear and white in the LCD display. Also footwell LEDS fitted as well as map lights / interior lights. Seatbelt / lights on warning disabled. Speed sensor wire cut so you can raise / lower the soft top as long as the handbrake is on one click. PWJDM heavy alloy gear stick. 4 Piece OEM Honda Mats in excellent condition. Alpine CDA9887R HU, Kenwood KAC820 amp bridged driving 6.5” CDT Audio CL62 mids and tweeters, Kicker Dual L7 10” Sub in a custom sealed boot box driven by a VIBE sub amp. All doors, boot floor, parcel tray sound deadened. iPod lead run through to centre glovebox. Also Alpine 400BT Bluetooth fitted and the upgraded audio controls wired to the Headunit. Modrify Inner cubby tidy fitted – genius piece of kit, stops it all rattling. Custom intake. Sits nicely in the cold air feed that comes in via the wing. Nvidia Q300 5” slash cut exhaust. Decat fitted. Bonnet gas struts fitted.

Included in the sale but not fitted: 4 x 16” OEM alloys, not in great condition but really only need a good polish to bring them back up, fitted with Kumho Winter tyres, probably another season or two left in them. Original S2000 CD Radio unit. Refurbished starter motor, stripped, cleaned and regreased. Catalytic Converter, in good condition and not damaged at all. Most of an OEM airbox but I’ve no idea if it’s complete, it hasn’t been on the car in years. Spare Gearbox from a 2005MY – purely there as spares just in case. It’s not assembled but it’s a good parts bin. Box of random brake bits and pieces, probably enough to cobble together a refurb. I think I have a pair of spare heater / audio controls, will throw them in if I can find them. Spacesaver tyre and toolkit / foam boot insert. Full rear drivers quarter in Moonrock and a black drivers wing. Both not rusty and undamaged. I was going to use these to sort some issues out but they can go with the car. Alone these are probably worth £400 and that’s IF you can find them in good condition. Anything else I can find laying around that’s S2000 related.
