4.77 Diff
I have for sale a 4.77 Diff that was Built By "Surfer_CRX" who is a well known member of this forum,
The diff works perfectly but does however whine if you stay on light throttle at certain speeds
Ive had it in my daily driver for 8 months and have never had a problem with it, However im thinking about selling up so im returning my car back to standard so ive now took the diff off the car.
So its for sale for cheap. I have pictures if anyone wants any, But tbh it just looks like a standard s2000 diff

Its actually not that bad, there is no whine when accelerating and no whine decelerating. It just howls a bit at light throttle when at you drive at constant speeds. Its never got any worse and ive always just put up with it.
I always thought about stripping it down to take a look but just thought for all the hassle ill just use it instead. Its never let me down once and i use the car every day.
There was also no metal in the oil when i drained it.

I've had a couple of people message me about this so thought I might pop in here to clear up any issues, the diff was in good working order when I sold it. The OEM diff is not silent, however at the price that this is being sold for you could have it stripped by a gearbox specialist and rebuilt with a new compression sleeve, pinion bearing and diff bearings and you will have as good of a diff as you can expect to have.
