Default Big Power Turbo S2000 600HP

A very sad day is here..

I have decided to sell up my recently finished big Turbo S2000 to fund some other interests / projects.

I'm after £20,000. ono

I have owned this Honda S2000 for the past 5 years and in this time I have taken it from an already fantastic car to an incredible fast street / Track machine.
The car has previously been featured in Japanese Performance magazine for a s2000 anniversary special last summer. It has very recently been featured again with the magazine for a 6 page spread due for issue in June 2015.

The car has undergone a full ground up restoration.

Key points –

Professionally re-sprayed in Honda Platinum White Pearl (same pearl white you see on many new Honda CRZ’s, paint code NH-609P). This painting was carried out by a local body shop who specialise in high end classic car restorations, they did a fantastic job preparing and painting all of the car including the engine bay. Receipts for over £3500 in body paint and bodywork (smoothing bumpers etc). Their paint has a 10yrs guarantee against defects with the materials used.

Every arm and subframe has been removed from the car, sand blasted and powder coated and fitted with pollybush bushes. Whilst everything was off the car it was fully rust treated and under sealed.

The engine is the original block and head which were removed, disassembled ultrasonically cleaned before being professionally rebuilt for big HP turbo application. I have receipts for over 12K of engine / Turbo parts, and labor. The car is running 1.6 bar of boost making 540 WHP (wheel horse power), which is approx. 600hp at the flywheel. It is therefore not for the feint hearted but has the suspension and brakes set up to handle the power.

Since the engine build and restoration the car has covered around 6,000 miles. However the chassis has 95K on the log book but as you will see from below, apart from the shell and windscreen, very little remains from the original 95K car.

Although it is really sad to see the advert this s2000 is in showroom condition and a perfect chance for someone that wants a fully built car without having to spend a single penny. Frankie has done an excellent job and an amazing guy to talk with

Good luck with the sale Frankie

Thanks for your kind words Chris, I truley am gutted but the car hardly ever gets driven now so really deserves to go to someone with more time to enjoy it!

Correct, thank you for your constructive comment...

If this was a build thread then fair enough but it's not so please keep any negative / jealous comments to yourself.

For the record the diff and gearbox are also low mileage (I have receipts to show them swapped) and have been working fine at this power level so far.

However if drag racing or regularly launching the car is your intention then the new owner might want to consider alternative solutions. For a street application OEM has worked very well for me and should it fail in the future, spares are cheaply and readily available.

As long as you do rolling pulls stock diff can hold. Dragstarts is another story. You need to change and diff and gearbox and that means a big budget!!

Totally agree with the above^^^
I have no intentions of upgrading mine as it only gets used on the road.

Frankie???

Be a shame to loose you. The crowds around your car at Japfest last year were great.
Good luck in finding a worthy purchaser.

Make sure they sign up on here!

Your car is beautiful
I was just surprised to see that
(I know 2 French Turbo'ed S2000s who blowed many OEM Diffs and they only had 350+ hps)

BTW, GLWS !

£20k seems more than reasonable given the quite incredible spec, condition and work that has been done. Best of luck with the sale, if I had £20k that I could justify on another car I'd bite your hand off!
