Following the Redhill pre-euro meet on Saturday just gone it seems there is quite an appetite for refurbished cam/rockers covers to replace the flaking OEM ones.

I don’t plan on making this big business, there’s plenty of people already doing that, but I do have the ability to deliver high quality (in my opinion of course) cam cover refurbishments for those that are interested.

I can meet (or possibly exceed - as commented by Redhill attendees!) the OEM crinkle finish, with a consistent deep red that should outlast the OEM finish even on a new cover. Could also do custom paints if needs be.






I can also refinish the spark plug covers in wrinkle black and polish the letters if you want a true OEM refinish.

Refurbs normally take one week, but just to be safe i’d say allow 10 days in most circumstances.

For those that don’t know, in the UK there are three types of cover:

00 - 04 (cable throttle): plastic PCV/2x cam sensors

04 - 06 (cable throttle): metal threaded PCV/2 cam sensors

06> (Drive by wire): metal threaded PCV/1 cam sensor.

I have a freshly refurbished 04-06 cover ready to go if anyone needs a quick turnaround, otherwise you’d need to get your cover to me.

I’m asking £120 for a OEM wrinkle red cover refinished, and an extra £20 for the spark plug cover. All prices are plus postage and packaging.

If you want to utilise the exchange cover I have, I’ll ask for an extra £120 deposit which will be refunded when your cover arrives in good working order.

send the cam and possible the best method to send it and price and I will get back to you when it is off
