I'll be giving you a shout, Delta, once I've fitted my supercharger and figured out what's left to remove/blank off!

Just sent you a PM - I'm currently in the process of fitting a supercharger and have a decat so the air pump is pointless for me. Could you please ship me a kit?
Thanks

I will try to explain in my best English.
During a cold start, this additional air pump, pumps air into your engine through your intake(manifold). This runs for several minutes.
the engine will run on a leaner fuel - air mixture. This allows more heat released in the exhaust gases, which cause the catalisator quickly reaches operating temperature. After your catalisator has reach it's operating temperature, the pump will shut down. At a warm/hot start, you wont even use this pump/system.
You don't need this egr/airpump system on your car.
If you remove the pump and replace it for our set, you'll still pass your annual MOT.
The car gets its required emission, it will only takes a little longer until the catalisator warms up.
The pump can broke down, which will trow you a CEL (Error code = Check Engine Light). A new pump is really expensive.
If the pump is on the verge of death it will start making noise.
You can remove the pump, and replace it by a resistor, this way, your ECU will still think the airpump is working.
By doeing this, you can also remove a lot of hoses, solenoids, and pipes, which are all in sight of your enginebay room.
So you can remove 4kg from your car, which is quite a lot. And you can clean your engine bay, which a lot of car people like.
If you have any questions, just ask
