FS: Alianz Ti valve retainers
Alaniz Titanium valve retainers Mk2.
It is wise to replace the OEM retainers with stronger ones if you will be in the high range of revs, as this will put more stress on the OEM retainers. They give the advantage of that safety margin when you over-rev, because when you do you have a far less chance of dropping a valve. Its a good bit of work to install them as you have to take the cams etc out but far better than a cabbaged engine!
Another benefit of Titanium retainers is they are lighter at (6 gram) and so reduces the un-sprung valve train weight which in turn releases an odd bhp or two.
