FS: H&R Coilovers - Price Reduced
I'm selling a set of H&R coilovers for the S2000
I purchased them from a forum member in the states about 5 years ago. Since then I've had them on my s2000 and have covered about 8000 miles.
They're a great coilover for everyday use. From memory the spring rates are approximately 7.5Kg Front and 7.5KG Rear.
The springs are also progressive so you get a complaint ride. The damper is a Bilstein unit with custom work by H&R. Other members on the UK forum have also used these and have reported nothing but good reviews.
These coilovers make the car handle like it should of done from the factory IMO.
The coilovers are height adjust only and can be set to go really low if that's your aim, too low to be honest (2"+)
I've given them a quick rub with a buffing pad to brigthen them up, I'm sure if you can be arsed you could get them to a mirror finish.
I added Cusco ARB's to my car then used it on the track also.
Below is the lingo from a distributors webiste:
H&R is the pioneer in coilover suspension with TUV approval. Engineered for street and occasional track use, H&R Coil-Overs feature a fully-threaded shock body (not an imitation sleeve-over) that allows you to precisely dial in height adjustment to achieve optimum weight transfer, or simply get the aggressive look you've been looking for. Featuring H&R's exclusive dynamic damper technology, each shock is engineered to work in harmony with a progressive-rate spring, together creating a finely-tuned suspension system.
These retail at about $1500 + tax, shipping & vat. These also don't come with top mounts as standard but they are included in the sale (these cost me £150)
£550 + delivery - (payment as bank transfer or paypal gift)

10k miles, so the total would be 18k in approximately 6 years
My car sits on axle standard for 4-6 months a year. I've done about 3k miles in the last 2-3 years.
