Six minutes from posting to sale!
(It was almost faster! I ummed and erred about it myself before Simon posted. I used to have one before I switched to the PRM. I like the noise the PRM gives but don't like the throttle lag and jerkiness when the weather is hot.....)

comqsat - If you have the Aus intake tell me how you get on with the fitting. I've had all sorts off problems with the bonnet not going down flush.
Not meaning to put you off, it might just be my intake.
Cheers,
Stanza.

Both pm's recieved
thanks
All I have left now is a nearside headlamp I'll repost that in a few days
The TVR is currently on holiday in Blackpool. It developed an oil leak. Im glad I got one less than 2 years old as the engine has a 2 year warranty.
Hopefully will be back by Easter.
thanks

Stanza, I had this problem with my Aus intake. It was solved by loosening the bonnet latch. There are posts on the board about it, and a thread by Ben Hampton on the same subject, if you have the patience to wrestle with the search engine!

Simon,
Had a look at the threds but there was nothing new there to help. I've tried adjusting the bonnet latching mechanism until I'm blue in the face, I've moved everything that could hamper the installation and stop the intake from fitting flush on the cross member.
But when the bonnet is closed it just forces the bonnet up in the air. Its so noticeable it looks like the cars had a front end prang.
I hat to admit it and I'm an engineer for an automotive firm , but this thing has got me baffled. It's hardly rocket science.
Hope you'll have more luck.
Mark.
