Expensive? No its not. Only a few available worldwide. Get it now before (hard) brexit!
I notice its less pounds then 3 months ago. (GBP 4655,- vs 4815,-)
-Shipping euro +/-150,- euro
-Plug and play on 2006-2009 cars.
-To make it compatible with 1999-2005 S2000's add euro 50,- for the crankshaft pulser wheel + installation done by me.

On a new (never run) engine the end-float should be perfect. Any problems will only manifest themselves once the engine has run and put a few miles on it, say 5000 or so. Then check the end-float - any increasing value would be cause for alarm. If I bought this pre-assembled block I would seriously consider changing the thrust washers before running it, a relatively simple job. Having been on the receiving end of a failed thrust washer and out-of-spec end-float I think the original problem was possibly a bad batch of thrust washers.

Think VB has a point, and a very valid point regarding the issue with end float on new F20c engines.
I would also change out thrust from my readings regarding this
