It pays to keep the stock cat with the Q300, at least from a noise comfort perspective. An after market cat or delete can make it unbearable. This may be the difference between opinions.

Have a couple of euro trips planned so want something a bit better for cruising. All the research I did pointed towards it not being too loud.

Seems quite a few people have gone for the Medalion Touring after finding tje Q300 too load. What's the Miltek like in comparison?

If you can find one, the Blueflame system is a very nice compromise.

Failing that - stock exhaust mod.

Ta for that...I'd consider the stock exhaust mod but I had to cut my OE off as the last cowboy had welded it together

Blueflame was the manufacturer, i had one, swapped it out for a Q300 ( and a decat) but i'm stone deaf

Last i saw of mine, PaulF had it but he's since sold that car.

Just replace the Q300 with the Medalion Turing. Takes 30 minutes once the car is off the ground as they're both in multiple parts. Frame cross bar can stay in place. Clean & polish the Q300 and sell it. Mine sold in 2 or 3 days -- I priced it to sell!
