Hi, I have removed this engine from my 2005 s2k, the engine has covered 78k miles and has full service history. There was an incident with a bird going through he from grill and smashing the radiators causing a water leak which lead to potential overheating. I purchased the car in this condition and got another lower mileage engine at a good price so had this replaced as the car wasn't starting and there was water in the oil. I didn't have the time for a rebuild so went with another engine.

The engine is showing no compression on cylinder 3 and that's where the water has entered. The mechanic has advised it could be the head gasket has gone or the head is cracked near cylinder 3.

You will get what what you see in the picture and visually there is no external damage to the engine and I'm more than happy for you to come have a look at it. I'm sure there are many salvageable parts and this could be rebuilt.
