S2000 supercharged road legal track day car
2002 Monte Carlo Blue – 109k.
I’ve finally decided that it’s time for me to move on from this car. It’s road legal, and just passed MOT (expires 19/04/2019).
A bit of history, I’ve had the car since 2012 and it had two owners before. When I bought it, the car was totally stock. I had some initial work done to replace the geo bolts (6 of 8 were seized!) and then started modifying the car to my own tastes.
It got supercharged 5000 miles ago and pretty much everything mechanical was sorted to my liking. Only the body work let the car down, (after all it is 16 years old) so I enquired about addressing arch rust and the paintwork. To be honest, for me it just wasn’t worth the outlay, so I decided to use the car purely as a track car. I had a half cage added for extra peace of mind on track days, and to ensure harness could be fitted properly.
This is clearly not a show car, it is GO!!! As a result, it has scratches, marks and battle scares. Quite a few bits came from MB’s VTEC Challenge S2000 so definitely seen some action! Having said that, wheels have been refurbed and many parts are premium parts despite being a track car. I just got carried away
Virtually all the work on the car whilst in my position has been completed at TGM or Veysports apart from basic servicing which I have done. Tom (TGM) knows the car well and supplied/fitted the oil cooler, relocation kit, cage, suspension, bushes and countless other items, also sorting out the geo.
The car was mapped by Romain, making about 380 at the fly. Since I removed the aircon, the idle seeks a little but Romain is due to fix this remotely. Otherwise, the car run perfectly and is lots of fun, especially in the wet at Combe!. There are parts I have not fitted that are included in the sale, such as the gauges.
It is possible that I will break the car as I have so many bits from it, but beforehand I wanted to see if anyone wanted to take it on as a complete package. Please do not contact me for parts at this time, but if you want the car whole, and everything listed below, please DM/PM me. More pictures can be provided on request, and any test drives will be with me at the wheel only. I’m based near Southampton/Winchester.

Amazing car and an amazing spec list. Just a quickie, i think the picture of the oil cooler is the supercharger oil cooler. Might be worth getting one of the engine oil cooler. Good luck with the sale!
