Genuine Mats from WB Performance!
#1231
Just put my floormats in for the Spring!
On my '05 USDM, the driver's side already had a bracket. However, the existing one doesn't have the rear snaps for the 2nd floormat piece, and the mounting hole on the new floormats is a bit smaller than the original one. So, I used the new one that came with the floormats.
Per in the instructions, I did find the vertical pre-cut slits on each side, and just had to cut a 'flap' in order to get the new bracket in. Note, I re-used the existing plastic grommet that was already installed (yellow in the pic), but used the new self-tapping screw (old one was rusted).
Original bracket
New Bracket
The passenger side did not have an original bracket in place. I placed the bracket and floormat in the car to see where I needed to cut those slits. Note that my passenger side did not have any pre-cut slits.
New Bracket & Grommet - included with kit
the 2nd piece covers those flaps that you cut. No worries!
I'll take some better pics during the day The brackets aren't hard at all to install, but make sure to use a decent X-Acto knife or snippers to cut through the carpet.

If you turn back a few pages quite a few people were posting up there mats fitted to their cars - it should help you decide

It's taken a while to decide!
You can't rush these things! Anyway, I would like to order the red ones, but how do we apply a members discount at checkout?
