Default F20C Longblock: Cracked piston rings, cylinder head damage

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

I had a failure on my F20C. Looking to sell it to help fund the new engine and build.

2001 S2000 Longblock 93k miles

Shortblock:
Cylinder 1: not removed, assume broken top compression ring. Bearings in good shape, no scoring.
Cylinder 2: confirmed top compression ring broken, with chunks getting on top of piston and collision with the cylinder head. Rod bearings must have gotten pushed against the crank journal for a few hundred RPMs. Upon removal of the piston/rod the bearing fell out with ease. Rod bearing looked good, no scoring.
Cylinder 3: confirmed top compression ring broken, with chunks getting on top of piston and collision with the cylinder head. Not as bad as cyl 2. Rod bearing looked good, no scoring.
Cylinder 4: not removed, assume broken top compression piston ring. Rod bearing looked good, no scoring.
Sleeves: No cracks from what I can tell.
Other: small amount of coolant came out of the oil pan before rotating the engine over to inspect the bearings. It is thought that the collision of cyl 2 and 3 into the head lifted the head and that is how coolant got mixed with oil. Engine was updated with the larger oil banjo bolts. Cylinder 2 piston and rod will not be included in the sale.

Conclusion: Short block should be a great candidate for a build.

Cylinder head:
Cylinder 1: no damage
Cylinder 2: Confirmed damage, possible welding required
Cylinder 3: confirmed bowl damage, possible welding required
Cylinder 4: no damage
Valvetrain: AP2 intake retainers upgraded, exhaust retainers are still AP1. No scoring on rollers/cams. Everything looks great. It is possible that the valves are bent in cyl 2 and 3, but have no disassembled the head to do so.

Conclusion: with a little professional work it can be a usable head.

Located in Waukesha (Milwaukee) Wisconsin
Asking $350 for both the head and block or willing to trade for go fast parts
