It's fun to see old friends, meet new people and see their cars, so I've tried to organize a few of these gatherings every so often. If there's interest, perhaps we can meet a few more times this summer and fall, maybe go for a drive somewhere. I've gone with guys on drives up to southern Wisconsin, around Lake Geneva or the Kettle Moraine area. Lots of fun, sure beats Illinois, for IMHO there's nothing here to see unless you want to go out to Galena or WAY down south near Carbondale. If there's interest in doing anything like this - just grabbing a cup of coffee or going on a longer daytrip drive - let me know (pm or gebby3@aol.com) and we can try to pull something together. Small group of larger, it doesn't matter to me. It's going to be fall before we know it and we'll be be thinking back about the nice days of summer that we're experiencing now.
