Default Any recommendations for a mechanic in the chicagoland area?

I'm having squeaking sounds from my rear wheels that I'm suspecting might be the rear axel nuts. The sound is identical to this:

I've heard that re torquing them would be the way to go but for the life of me couldn't find a 3/4" breaker bar. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations to a mechanic I can take it to to have a look.

Thanks guys!

There's RCautoworks, ILL garage, one6 motorsports and TF works that can look at that for you.

For the past few years I've been using the good guys at RCN Motors. Ask for RT (R.T. Zelm). I don't think that I've ever been there when there are at least two S2000 in the shop and I've been there a lot. I'll be going there tomorrow just to stop in for coffee and a chat because they, too, are good folks.

If you're looking for a shop, I've never had issues with one6 Motorsports in Elk Grove Village. Ask for Mark and tell him jeff with the yellow s2000 sent you.Sometimes his wait times are a tad long but he offers pretty competitive pricing. I've used him off and on for the past 7 years with no issues.

If you're looking for an individual, I cannot praise Phong (username "Jeggy") enough. He's located around the 630 and his schedule may more or less change, so it's optimal you PM him for anything. He's the only other person I would personally trust with my car - and has never let me down.

+1 for Mark and One6. He knows Hondas and the S2000 in particular. Drives one himself. He knows the car and the aftermarket stuff. Professional. Prompt. Good guy.

+1 for RT at RCN. Knows the S2000 inside and out.

One6 did a great job on my AP1 to AP2 valve retainer swap, cheap, too.

Would definitely go back.
