The Q300 sounds horrible behind a high flow or (I expect) de-cat exhaust. I removed it from my car in about a month and put the Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust on the car. So did my buddy who had the exact experience. But we're in Cleveland!

HKS Hyper Dual is hands down best sounding exhaust I've heard in 16 years of S2000 ownership. Obviously that's subjective. There are plenty of Youtube vids for the HKS dual if you're interested.

Agree. I've had mine for almost 10 years and still enjoy it.

When/around where will you guys be?

Thanks everyone for the input, I like how the hks sounds from youtube vids, but it looks so big compared to the q300/tanabe. Not sure if that's the case IRL or the pics make it seem like it is.

also is there a local s2000 fb group?

i didn't see any with search.
