Big, big, big, big mistake...
So I was thinking, there's no snow, no salt on the road, why not take the S out for a spin? Hadn't driven the car for probably a month or so. And dammit, it's just as much fun with the top up!
Now how am I supposed to survive when the real winter season starts?
Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all???

I know how you feel. Mine is in a storage unit and I go to see it every weekend!! I miss my car! I don't get many looks when I am in my winter car. It's not a man magnet like the S.

Don't feel bad...I bought my car last Saturday...and stopped driving it for the winter on the Friday after that. Only 6 days with my new baby before it's winter hibernation.

Ulrich,
Just bite the bullet and buy a set of snow tires. That way you can drive your S everyday of the year. Plus as an added bonus, after it snows, you can take it to a deserted parking lot and spin and slide to your heart's content. It's great fun! (Just be careful not to do what my brother-in-law did and find the only light pole in the parking lot during the middle of a slide...)

Not to sound ignorant or nothing but what does that salt on the ground do?!? Is that the same as salt blocks for cows?!?
This morning I woke up to light rain in the moutain areas (mauka) and it was really really cold 73 degrees! Drove to work about 5 miles away near the water (makai) where it will get to about 85 degrees today. Way too warm, thank goodness we get 10 - 15 mph tradewinds to cool us off. Such is life.
But the worst part is... I have no s2k to drive anymore. I had to part with mine since my wife and I are expecting in April. So although the weather is perfect, I get to motor around in my sub-perfect Acura Integra LS 4 Door automatic!!! *sniff*
