Chicago area Weekend Meet?
 

Anyone up for a weekend meet up before the weather goes south?

I am thinking about Sept 14th or 21st right now. We could do a cruise with a forrest preserve BBQ afterwards, we could cruise down to Starved Rock (For a BBQ or restraunt lunch or just to turn around and come back.) We could head over to NW Indiana and involve the guys from "there" ;) (j/k Hoosiers) We could cruise around up north mabey meetup with some Cheeseheads.

Suggestions, comments, issues? Post 'em below. For some this could be thier last cruise of the year, let's make it memorable (in a good way this time, right Shift_9K? ;) )

Let's get a RECORD for a chicagoland meet. The MOST cars ever in this area.

:( :( Good idea! However I work on the weekends. So I dont think I would be able to make it. But if you need help whoring on this thread to get more attention, i would be more then happy to! :) Oh and the car should be taken care of fairly soon. My only concern is the paint matching. Other then that I think PJ got the worse of it. But no hard feelings, shit happens. :)

I almost went to the last meet but did not make it. I am up for a weekend meet. This weekend is no good for me. For now, count me in for the 21st. I'd like to meet fella S owners before storing the car for the season.

I really cant man, its a sales job. I wish I really could. On top of it my boss is an ass. In theory, suppose I did take a sat or sun off, we'd be back the same day rite? Lets get this thread going and see what happens. Friday would be the ideal day....for me at least. But dont let me put a damper on it. Have fun. Lets get more then 18 cars this time!!!

Dont care where, as long as we have:

1) Lots of open space
2) Cool twisties
3) Lots of S2k's
4) Females (optional)

Nice, its funny to see when you have all those things....females become optional. Deprive us for the list above and females become a necessary evil. :LOL:

Does the 28th of September make things better or worse for anyone? Just tossing out the date. Are the Saturdays better than the Sundays? Let me know.

I have also heard a rumor that the biggest meet in the area was 33 cars. I say we go for AT LEAST 35!

Saturday's are better. My life is dedicated to Football on Sunday's.
