This poll is to see how much the Upper Midwest owners are spending on their S2000. Only add the cost of aftermarket parts. Don't include the cost of basic maintenance or the cost of you car.

Time to see who the true ballers are

Less than $200.00

i find it a little wiser to spend your money on other more important things i.e. school, a house...but to some, spending $$ on the car is totally a true hobby.

my last wtb purchase were shocks but i got them free from a close friend in kali

other than that..I bought a cooling plate from lee

Yeah, I am pretty sure I haven't hit 5 digits yet. I don't REALLY want to add it all up though. That might get depressing.

I'm at about 15k right now. I have all the intakes available for the S2000. I got the Mugen, Gruppe M, J's racing, and the Comptech, and waiting for an AEM V2. I am going to run dyno tests on my S2000 to see which has the better gains etc. I will be running the tests with a stock vehicle and then with the J's racing header, J's test pipe and 60rs exhaust. I'll keep all you guys updated.

Here is the guinea pig:

And my current intake I got from BrianS2000 here on S2KI:

I think I'm right around the 2.5k mark right now. I'm probably not going to stop there either. But for the time being(until spring) I'm done. Although I just got a digi-slr I'm dying to try out. Next meet perhaps.

All I know is that it is getting painfully expensive. This is addiction could be worse than smoking!
