All - love the forums, tons to learn!

I already did a search here and could not really get an answer:

1- Any performance shops in Chicagoland (hopefully closer to Naperville) that does alignment on a lowered AP2? I know Schaumburg Nissan has a setup to align their GTR's and I heard it's system can align it to an S2k CR model.

2- A mechanic who has specializes or knows their s2k'S if and when I need to do tune ups and any other work?

Only performance shops that I know of are Northwest of Chicago . One of them is One6 and and there is another one I forget the name but its in that same area. But for alignments I go to PepBoys for my lowered AP1 and they keep me at -1.5degrees in the front and -3.5 in the rear.

Most users on here either do their own repairs and tunes ups. I know a fair amount when it comes to the S2k.

1. For your location, I highly recommend NTB in Montgomery, they have an in-ground alignment rack that deals very well with many S2k owners here in the Chicago burbs. I trek out there nearly 45 minutes just to get the alignment done on mine, no issues.
If you want to venture up north, go to Thalmann's Alignment, they do a great job (if not better) as well.
2. As stated above, one6 has never done me wrong, they're in Elk Grove Village, ask for Mark.
RCN is decent too, I've never been there but I have quite a few friends that rave about them.

If you're willing to go independent, ask for Phong around here, his username on S2ki is "Jeggy", he's the only individual I would ever let touch my car if I won't/can't do it myself. Great guy.

Thank you everyone. PepBoys Naperville has a $180 lifetime unlimited alignment special going on but am not sure if they can do lowered S2K's (will find out this week when I visit them).

I heard great things about NTB. Hope to visit them next.
