Finally in the 19's, this car has more in it for sure. I should be in the 18's once I can nail the S's, keep my foot in it at swamp and take big bend at 75 or so. The track just keeps getting better, anyone that hasn't come out to Waterford yet NEEDS TO!!! It's an absolute riot; be a part of history! This track will probably not be this fresh again until we have one foot in the grave!
A little piece of advice that I learned from this session: If there's someone behind you that is sticking super close and obviously over driving their car, let them by. I stuck with the red FRS for a bit and then decided to go for my actual lap time; letting someone go and adding space in this type of event is a smart idea IMO.

Why, yes.........yes you do!
Another great video Geoff, thanks for sharing it.
Your hand placement is still a clinic on how it should be done, and thanks as always for waving to the volunteer workers ;^D
I watched you hit all the right apexes several times, but of course the trick is to get 'em all right in the same lap!
Still, running 1:19's even on the freshly paved/smooooooth track is no small feat......so congrats, man

Waterford Hills' annual Vintage event is this coming Friday (practice- in the afternoon only)/Saturday/Sunday, and the weather is actually predicted to be great!
C'mon out and see the action, plus tour around the track at lunchtime for a small fee.
And remember to bring earplugs, since the mufflers are allowed to come off for this weekend

Had a friend's 2003 S2000 on my lift today for a full fluid service.
We installed Mobil 1 10W-30 and a Bosch Premium oil filter, then 1.5 quarts of Honda white cap MTF into the transmission.
I looked up the Honda recommended Differential fluid in my 19 year old service manual, which called for straight 90W gear oil.
The S2Ki Forums said that Mobil 1 75W-90 was an acceptable substitute, which I had on hand so was installed,
Does anyone here have any data why for a 100% street car we should drain the M1 75W-90 and replace it with Honda's straight 90W gear oil?
TIA,
Brian
