Default Preliminary UMW WTD07 Thread

it's almost that time again! thought i'd start up a thread. so who's going? i'm at about 90% certain i will be...last year was amazing! i thought we had a great group, too, so that made things even better. i have exactly 1.5 days of vacation i don't have accounted for yet, so it's either this or a toronto road trip.

is anyone in need of roommates for fontana? i'm not sure who's all goin from before. and i would need a bed or couch.

for those new(er than me) here, we caravaned from the UMW area to the dragon with a group of about 30 cars or so by the end? the majority of the group met in IL on thursday afternoon, stayed in cincinatti thursday night, then continued on to the dragon arriving friday afternoon. followed by a weekend of driving on the sweetest roads in all the land.

edit: wake the dragon s2ki forum

I'm in. WTD was awesome last year.
Some of my non-S2K friends may be coming along so I don't know my room situation yet.

where is this "dragon" located? should i bring my steel sword and sheild?

how long is the drive from chicago to said location? do many people from far away lands take part in this epic battle?

i would only be able to take off work on a monday or a friday. is 3 days enough time for such a quest?

Only four hours later and you have a 15% drop in your chances of attending does not look good.

I will be there with my possible +1 again and have already reserved a Willow cabin.

I am going, but I am considering taking a side trip on the way down, and leaving on the Tuesday before. I am also planning two days to come home. The drive home was not as bad as I thought it would be, but I'd still rather split it up.
