Starve Rock cruise 2016
 

Goooooood morning chicago! Who's ready for our annual starve rock cruise?!

Stop taking the Buss to work and get your car ready. We will be cruising on out to starve rock state Park on Sunday oct 9th 2016. So cancel that planned trip to Brazil and stay in the country with us as we take some beautiful scenic back roads to Morris,il have lunch and do some hiking.
Everyone and every car is invited. Even if you're living in some corrupt south American country, you're more then welcomed to join us at 7 am at century tile as we gather and wait for that one jerk that's always late or hungover to arrive. When I say everyone is invited, I mean EVERYONE even if you're name is Dave, Becky, Joshua or even Eduarda. Bring whatever car you want. Whether it's a white FWD Celica or an orange mid engined Celica, bring it all. Normal car, exotic car, or a car that's just plain funk. Unless you have a 3rd Gen eclipse. Leave those at home.

I'm planning on bringing my family in a rental van so don't think this is a s2k and s2k owners only cruise. This is for all.

Who: past, present, future s2k owners and anyone they wanna invite. That includes me, you, your momma and your sister too.

Sounds fun. I'm going to try and make it out with a few buddies. Will be bringing my RSX turbo. NO s2k :( Trying to get my buddy with his HellCat and maybe a few more guys. I'll post on clubrsx to see if any of those guys would be interested.

As far as hiking/lunch, are there restaurants on site or will we be driving out of Starved Rock to eat? And the hiking, anything we should bring to "aid" us lol This will def be my workout for the week. Having a new born has been hard to make it to the gym or even jog around the neighborhood

There is a little snack store and a restaurant in the main lodge. Bring water if you're hiking, there are lots of stairs and you spend a lot of time hiking up to the top or back down to the bottom.

There is a sit down resturant at the lodge where we will have lunch. We can have lunch inside or outside, all depends on how big of a Groupe we have and the weather.
The hiking is very easy. I did it one year carrying our 7 month old. But always have water handy.

JEGGY: Have you thought about posting in JDMC ? i know a lot of those guys have a bad rep but didn't know how big of a meet you were trying to make this. Be nice to see a big group of quality cars and meet some good people. Emphasizing on "good" people lol

yeah. def never gonna miss this cruise again. pretty awesome... Really got to wring out the car and test some of its limits.

Great cruise. Had a lot a fun and picked up some good ideas for some mods.
