Default What's your next track day?

Can't decide what my first track day for the year should be. Anyone know their track schedule. It would be fun to go with some other S2k's...or at least a C6

I was thinking of doing a Gingerman/Grattan weekend for the first weekend in June, but wouldn't mind a Gingerman or Autobahn day before then. Still haven't done Putnam or Blackhawk, so I'm open to those as well.

Weekends only for me.

Well, my FIRST one of the year, was on Monday at Putnam.

My next one will be Grattan next Friday (5/2) but it is sold out.

I am registered for June 2nd full-track at Autobahn (but it's a monday.)

The Audi Club has a three day event at Blackhawk June 20, 21, 22 (Fri-Sun) that looks tempting.

I am VERY interested in the three day event at Mid-Ohio July 4,5,6 (Fri-Sun, with Friday being a holiday.)

That looks like it will be my schedule, through July. I haven't made any decisions after that.

You should look for a Putnam Park event. It's a VERY cool track.

I want to do Gingerman first, Grattan would be too much for a first timer like me.

I need my leg to heal before I can track the car though, so it may June or July before I'll be ready.

Hmmm...maybe I'll try NASA May 17 and/or 18 at Putnam. That should give me enough time to pick up some new R-comps before then.

The Mid-Ohio event sounds cool, but my niece is getting baptized that weekend and I'll have a lot of family in town. I want to do Mid-Ohio eventually since it's one of the 2 major tracks within driving distance (the other being Road America).

I'm still not sure about blackhawk. I've heard mixed things as far as safety and fun factor. Location is good though.

Anyone who trailer's their car want to take some tires to Putnam for me?

I thought I knew what days I would be going to this year. I gave the significant other a list of the ones I would like to do and had planned on having done two by now and instead I have done zero.

I am hoping to get over to Grattan with the 3 Balls Group

The Northwoods Shelby group which I do not think is on the Track Day calendar will be putting on three events this year two of those have some weekend dates

They are

Road America Aug 15, 16, and 17
Autobahn Sept 27 & 28

I'll be at the AMS track day on Monday, burning off a set of lightly used RA-1s.
