ive already got both my cars hardwired for Escort. my 9500ix is kaput and i just want a replacement.

Echo the Valentine 1.

I have three, one in each car OTHER than the S2000. I can't fit a GPS and radar detector in the S2000 so had to settle for a Passport IQ or something. Ain't no V1 and ain't on Garmin either.

Stick with a tier 2 (at most) detector because of a couple of wires? Hard wiring it is simple. Uses a wall-to-phone modular cord. Easy to adapt your wiring to that plug since the plug just presses on.
