It is disappointing to see the plug pulled.
It seemed inevitable, however, given the loss of practically every meaningful major event. I wish Larry would have kept to the original local club style track that he initially envisioned. Button willow is one of our favorites with so many interesting configurations ... and the kind of character (e.g. magic mountain turn) and low cost that is only feasible with a non-major event kind of track.

Looks like MMP will be staying open! A Chinese based company has purchased the track and has made many promises along with the purchase. They say they will be investing around $7mil starting Jan 2016. Although this is a Chinese based company which is strange, the important thing is it will be staying open! A representative from the company states that the park will continue to operate as it has been but enhancements will be made.
