We decided that the Remote Res Motons weight penalty of 75lbs weren't all that necessary for sprint racing.
Dyanlites are light yes, but consistent on a track no. They would be great for AutoX or street but they didnt meet our needs as we hoped.
Actually trying to make something work out with SCCA -
The stock brakes on the S2K are so good, they're hard to beat. That was one of the few areas with the S2K track car that we never modified -- just added some brake ducts for cooling.
The Moton Clubsports are excellent, but 75lbs is a hefty penalty!
So far, they are very light but as of yet havn't spent any real time working with them. We had them on the car at the NASA nationals in the Honda Challenge race but we were dealing with other issues and didn't get any real time to play with them we bolted them on and ran them with the settings Performance Shock set them at for me based on how our Motons were. But we will see this year if we don't like them we'll probably move to Penske so keep your eyes out.
